This land is the ancestral home of the Michi Saagiig and Chippewa Nations, collectively referred to as the Williams Treaties First Nations, which encompasses Curve Lake, Hiawatha, Alderville, Scugog Island, Rama, Beausoleil, and Georgina Island First Nations.
